Rx: CAGA? - A - CCEON Helmeted warrior (Lacedaemon) standing l. holding Victory on globe and slanted spear with point upward. Ex Antioch Associates List 35, July 2001, no. 111. Very rare: RPC lists only the Paris specimen, which is from the same dies as our coin and as another example in the Behnen Collection. The same reverse die was also used for Trajan Decius: see preceding lot.
