Trajan Decius. ; Trajan Decius; 249-251 AD, Tarsus, Cilicia, AE 34.5, 20.96g. RPC-1357 (5 spec.), pl. 92 (same dies). Obv: ?V ??? G ?E? ?V?? ?E???? ???????? around, ? - ? across field, Bust radiate, draped, cuirassed r. Rx: ?????V ????????EO? around, ? / ? / ? / G / B vertically between the two deities, Hygieia standing r., holding serpent and feeding it from patera, beside Asclepius standing r., head l., holding serpent-staff. Acquired from Harlan Berk, 10 April 1999. Rare: from the same dies as the five specimens listed by RPC-1357.
