Obv: ?V? ? GA ?? ? TPA ?????? ??? ???? ??????????? ??? (legend generally present but weak, especially towards the end) Bust r. of Decius, radiate, draped, cuirassed, facing bust l. of Etruscilla, on crescent, draped, wearing stephane. Rx: ??? ??? ??????????? L III P (weak after PHC) Togate priest holding long staff and plowing r. with two oxen; above, eagle with raised wings standing r. on palm branch, head l., wreath in beak; in exergue, half figure of river god swimming r. Ex Knobloch List 32, February 1968, no. 381. From the same dies as RPC online-1594, specimen 9. Very rare double-portrait obverse type of Decius and Etruscilla, occurring only on this one obverse die, which was coupled with two reverse types, our plowing scene and City goddess sacrificing.
