French Colony silver Cut Canceled Specimen Trial Piastre 1931 SP55 PCGS, Paris mint, KM-Unl., Lec-306.10var.; #4 countermark. Diagonally cut canceled and marked with a stamped '4' on Liberty's cheek and ink numerals (19.870) over the bust. An interesting and rare trial, only discovered in the recent past, with Heritage having had the pleasure of bringing the first to market in our inaugural Hong Kong auction in December 2015.
