Postumus, Romano-Gallic Emperor, 260-269. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 20 mm, 2.25 g, 5 h), Mediolanum, struck under Aureolus, 267-268. IMP POSTVMVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Postumus to right. Rev. VIRTVS EQVITVM / S Hercules standing right, placing his right on his hip and leaning left on lion skin over club set on rock. AGK (corr.) 113. Cunetio 2497. Elmer 619. A highly attractive and nearly fully silvered example. The obverse slightly weakly struck and with a minor flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
