ELIS. Olympia. 93rd Olympiad, 408 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 11.20 g, 11 h), unsigned, but by Da... Eagle's head to left with large white poplar leaf below. Rev. [F-A] Vertical thunderbolt with wings above and volutes below; all within olive wreath. BCD Olympia 77 (same obverse die). Seltman, Temple 153 (dies BT²/γυ). Very rare. A budget example of what might the most famous Olympia obverse die. The reverse softly struck from a worn die, otherwise, good fine.
