IONIA. Phokaia. Circa 387-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.33 g). Head of nymph to left, hair bound tightly to head. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt 110. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG von Aulock -. Rare, only two cited by Bodenstedt. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.


There are no visible traces of plating, thus the coin was presumably just struck on an underweight flan.
