ΑY ΚΑΙ Μ ΑY ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝOC Laureate and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from behind. Rev. RPC IV online 2970.4 = SNG von Aulock 3757 (same dies). Very rare. The reverse very worn, otherwise, very fine.
While the obverse of this coin is actually very attractive, the reverse is so worn that one cannot help but wonder whether it may have been defaced deliberately.
