China Bank of China Tientsin $100 1.5.1917 Pick 54C. A simply elusive design. This design followed the Temple of Heaven issue, but was not released in large amounts due to the high denomination. The extended title of "Bank of China Exchange Note" is still seen on this issue, which was one of the last times it was used. A solid example with all colors excellent. PMG Very Fine 25.
