A "duress note" that was forcibly pen signed by the chief accountant under duress by the occupying Japanese forces during World War II. Next, the notes were subjected to the forced exchange into Japanese military yen. The HK & SBC "duress notes" were then used to buy war supplies in neutral Macau.
