Sasanian Kingdom. Khusru II. A.D. 591-628. AR drachm (33 mm, 4.13 g, 9 h). WYHC (Weh-az-Amid-Kavad), RY 32 (A.D. 622). Bust of Khusru II right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos set on crescent; ribbon over left shoulder; crescent over right shoulder / Fire altar with ribbons, flanked by two attendants; star and crescent flanking flames . Göbl type II/2; SC Tehran 3807-10. Nicely toned. Extremely fine.
