MACEDON. "Aigai" Mygdones or Krestones. circa 485-470 BC. Trihemiobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.07 g), He-goat moving right, head turned back to left; in field above, pellet within circle; to right, pellet. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. SNG Copenhagen 28. A scarce variety; nicely toned and very attractive. Very fine.
