KINGS of PARTHIA. Mithradates. Usurper in Mesopotamia, circa 15-10 BC. BI Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.21 g, 12h). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated Artemisios (April). Diademed bust left / Mithradates seated right, receiving palm frond from Tyche standing left, holding cornucopia; above, monogram above pellet; V/A below throne; A between Mithradates' feet; Π at ground to right of Tyche. Callataÿ, Tétradrachmes 107 (D25/R5); Sellwood 55.11 var. (no Π); Sunrise –; Shore 311 (Tiridates) var. (same). Good VF, find patina, a few scratches under patina. Extremely rare.
