1908-S 25C MS66+ NGC. Scarce in all Mint State grades, the 1908-S is rare in MS66 or finer grades. This high-end Premium Gem is the sole example at NGC to receive the Plus designation for its grade level. Vibrantly lustrous and attractive, the surfaces are mostly brilliant with a thin veil of translucent gold patina. The strike is razor-sharp. NGC reports just three numerically finer coins. Census: 8 in 66 (1 in 66+, 1 in 66★), 3 finer (5/17).
