1869 $1 MS62 PCGS. OC-2, R.2. The 1869 Seated Liberty dollar claims a substantial mintage of 424,300 pieces, but the issue is more elusive than the large production total would suggest. This impressive MS62 example displays lustrous surfaces that are lightly marked for the grade, under attractive shades of lavender-gray and champagne-gold toning.
