1879 $20 MS62 PCGS. Despite a mintage of more than 200,000 coins, the 1879 is a conditionally challenging issue that is usually found in XF and AU grades. This lovely Mint State piece has a bold strike and rich rose gold luster with reflective fields. Myriad surface marks prevent a higher grade but none are singularly obvious. Population: 52 in 62 (1 in 62+), 16 finer (5/17).
