Early Half Dimes
1794 H10C V-4, LM-4, R.4 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. VG Details. This piece has a sharp die crack through ES of STATES, the upper right branch, and the first A in AMERICA, separating the reverse die on two planes. Note the strong detail above and right of the die crack, and the weak detail left and below. We believe this is the terminal die state for the LM-4 half dime, and it is likely extremely rare as such. We do not recall seeing another. The light silver surfaces have splashes of blue and steel toning, especially on the obverse.
