1797 H10C 15 Stars, V-2, LM-1, R.3, Fine 12 PCGS. This LM-1 half dime has remarkably even wear on each side, whereas coins of this type usually show unevenly worn borders. The obverse rim is complete, and the reverse rim is nearly so. The usual strike weakness is seen at the centers, with the result that this coin has diminished detail on the middle of the devices. Smooth steel-gray surfaces offer pleasing visual appeal.
