1807 25C B-2, R.3, XF40 PCGS. 30th Anniversary Green Label Holder. Tompkins Die State 2/2, without the usual reverse die crack. Blue-gray toning is deepest at the margins of this otherwise silver-gray Draped Bust quarter. The reverse is about 10 points sharper than the obverse, with coppery-gold undertones beneath prevalent blue patina. The 5 in the denomination touches the eagle's tailfeathers to confirm the Browning-2 variety. A problem-free and original-looking example, minimally marked for the assigned grade. Population (both 1807 varieties combined): 16 in 40, 98 finer (5/17).
