1840-O 25C Drapery MS63 NGC. Briggs 2-C. Ex: New Orleans Bank Find. Small O. This satiny Select Mint State coin has faintly granular surfaces and dusky champagne toning. The mintage for this issue was only 43,000 pieces, although the date remains collectible to a certain extent. This piece is moderately well-struck with numerous peripheral die cracks on the reverse. Census: 10 in 63 (1 in 63 ★), 5 finer (6/17).
