1937 25C PR68 NGC. Boldly impressed and astoundingly well-preserved, this second-year proof Washington quarter offers considerable reflectivity beneath rich patina. Pale but thick silver-gray central toning gives way to varying degrees of yellow and rose peripheral toning, more prominent on the obverse. Census: 15 in 68 (2 in 68★), 1 finer (5/17).
