1953 25C PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC. An angled view reveals jet-black mirrors that glitter in deep contrast to the frost-white motifs. Starkly brilliant, the cameoed silver surfaces are entirely untoned and mark-free. This Ultra Cameo proof is well-struck throughout. Minor die doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST is a characteristic of all proof quarters of this date. Census: 13 in 68 Ultra Cameo, 1 finer (5/17).
