Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1920-S 50C MS64 PCGS. The strike-challenged 1920-S seldom offers better than 50% sharpness on the central motifs, although this Choice Uncirculated example is a bit better than that. The branch hand shows thumb separation and the eagle's breast plumage and trailing leg are reasonably defined. Satin luster flows across the smooth and lightly toned surfaces, which have a few wispy marks but no heavy contact. PCGS reports a mere 64 coins in a numerically finer grade (5/17).
