1853 $10 MS60 PCGS. The 1853 Liberty eagle enjoyed a substantial mintage of 201,253 pieces, but Mint State examples are very scarce in today's market. This impressive MS60 specimen offers well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of softness on the star centers. The lustrous orange-gold surfaces are lightly marked for the grade, outside of a thin curving scratch in the left obverse field. Population: 3 in 60, 28 finer (6/17).
