The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull right by band held around its head / ΛΑΡ-IΣAI (partially retrograde), horse prancing right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 53 var. (arrangement of ethnic); BCD Thessaly I –; BCD Thessaly II 171 var. (same); HGC 4, 418. VF, toned, light pitting on the reverse.
