Large Cents
1825 1C N-6, R.3, AU58 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Twin Leaf Collection. This lovely 1825 N-6 cent is a trifle bluntly struck, but exhibits considerable luster on its pleasing olive and chestnut-brown surfaces. The strong triple profile is visible from the forehead to the nose. In his reference, Howard R. Newcomb described double profiles with the 1/2 fraction and he designated triple profiles with a 3/4 fraction, so this cent would be attributed as N-6 3/4. Our EAC grade XF45.
