Indian Cents
1877 1C MS64 Brown PCGS. There is no debating the status of the 1877 Indian Head cent as the unchallenged key to the series. Only 852,500 circulation strikes were made and examples in any condition, from the lowliest of grades to the top echelons of Mint State, are highly sought-after. The lustrous surfaces of this Choice Uncirculated cent are largely medium brown with fire-orange and reddish-violet accents. The ribbon diamonds are clear, if a touch soft, but the feather tips are bold. Population: 37 in 64 Brown, 19 finer (6/17).
