Buffalo Nickels
1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, MS64 PCGS. An overzealous Mint employee fixed a die defect or clash mark and removed the right foreleg of the bison. In the process, he created one of the iconic Mint errors of all time. This near-Gem example is a Choice representative of the variety. It displays satiny-yet-reflective fields and a sharp strike on the obverse motifs, the three-legged bison, and the left-behind hoof.
