Early Half Dimes
1800 H10C V-1, LM-1, R.3, AU53 PCGS. Ex: Indiana Collection. The die state is late, showing a cud below the date; but the date numerals are not strike doubled as is usually the case when the cud is present. The strike is overall even and sharp, and neither side exhibits significant wear. Olive-gray and russet toning attests to the originality of the surfaces. LM-1 and LM-3 are the two most frequently seen 1800 half dime varieties, suitable for type purposes.
