Mercury Dimes
1916-D 10C AU58 PCGS. The 1916-D dime was immediately recognized as a key issue once its mintage of 264,000 pieces became known. This example was in circulation only a short amount of time before it was recognized and pulled out. The surfaces retain nearly full mint luster and there is just the slightest trace of friction on each side. Pale golden toning is barely discernible. To us the bands look split, but you decide.
