Roosevelt Dimes
1953-S 10C MS68 Full Bands PCGS. Out of nearly 40 million dimes struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1953, this is sole finest example ever handled by PCGS, by Heritage Auctions, or by any other firm for that matter, according to our records. That should be enough to get Registry Set collectors' attention. The obverse is brilliant with a rainbow-toned crescent around the borders. Concentric rings of neon-pink, forest-green, ice-blue, and gold patina cover the entire reverse. Each side is essentially immaculate, with a loupe failing to reveal any noticeable marks. Population: 1 in 68 Full Bands, 0 finer (6/17).
