1787 NJERSY New Jersey Copper, Outlined Shield, Maris 32-T, W-5100, R.2, XF45 PCGS. CAC. The plow handles have knobs and the beam is absolutely straight on this popular New Jersey variety that has a square M in UNUM with its bottom left and right serifs joined. The date and all of the legends are completely present on this piece with some border detail also visible. The surfaces are smooth and only exhibit the usual pre-production planchet marks on each side. A lovely light brown example with hints of mahogany toning. Listed on page 72 of the 2018 Guide Book.
