The 1783 Blunt Rays Nova Constellatio copper is popular for colonial type collectors and specialists in this short series, and demand remains high from both groups. This variety is also popular for the NOVA CONSTELATIO spelling blunder on the obverse. Pleasing orange-tan toning appears on the olive-brown surfaces of this attractive example.
