(1659) SHILNG Lord Baltimore Shilling, Large Bust, Hodder 1-A, W-1080, R.6, -- Bent, Obverse Scratched -- NGC Details. XF. This example has above-average detail on each side, but is noticeably bent along a line from 7:30 to 10:30 relative to the obverse. That side of this medium gray example has several scratches and other imperfections. Both sides exhibit light blue overtones that improve the eye appeal. The Large Bust variety is the only collectible Lord Baltimore shilling with a population of about 50 to 60 pieces. This example is hard to estimate, but should prove an affordable representative for a large number of collectors. Listed on page 42 of the 2018 Guide Book.
