1890 $1 MS66 NGC. The 1890 Morgan dollar is available through MS65 but is rare in MS66 and unknown finer. This piece is one of only 13 Premium Gems reported by NGC and PCGS combined (6/17). Frosty original luster yields dusky champagne toning that deepens to amber and blue at the borders. The faint pattern of an original mint bag's fabric is seen in the left obverse field. Slight strike weakness occurs at the centers, but Liberty's cheek is clean. Census: 8 in 66, 0 finer (6/17).
