1890-CC $1 MS64 PCGS. At more than 2.3 million pieces, the 1890-CC represents the peak of Carson City Morgan dollar production. Near-Gems are available with little trouble, but higher grade examples become more challenging. This issue was produced to high standards, evidenced by sharpness in the design elements, strong luster, and a high-quality planchet on the current coin. Scattered grazes prevent Gem classification, but still a very nice MS64.
