1890-S $1 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. As indicated by this high-end Gem, the typical Morgan produced by the San Francisco Mint in this year was well-struck, highly lustrous, and very attractive. Whispers of light gold-tan color cling to the obverse margin, the remaining surfaces remaining color-free. Some minor grazes prevent an MS66 designation, but still a very sharp coin, and recognized as such by CAC.
