1892-CC $1 MS63 NGC. The 1892-CC was nearly entirely unrepresented in the GSA sales of the 1970s but two or three thousand pieces were included in the Redfield hoard. This Select Uncirculated example displays frosted surfaces with only minor abrasions and bagmarks. Brilliant, sharply struck surfaces show fleeting glimpses of pale-gold toning. Attractive for the assigned grade.
