The California Diamond Jubilee half dollars were struck to mark the 75th anniversary of California's statehood, and they continue to be a favorite with collectors today. Most certified examples are in the MS62 to MS65 range. Dappled multicolor toning graces the lustrous surfaces on both sides of the coin with vivid rainbow shades at the lower obverse.
