Commemorative Silver
1938 50C New Rochelle MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The committee chairman, Pitt Skipton, instructed those packaging New Rochelle halves on the proper way to handle coins and how to reject defective and scratched pieces. The result can be seen in the large number of high-grade survivors today. This is an amazingly clean example, one that easily holds up to close examination with a loupe. The softly frosted surfaces are brilliant in the centers and surrounded by light toning toning around the margins.
