1794 50C O-101a, T-7, High R.3 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NCS. VG Details. This late die state coin has uniform olive-gray patina. It is cleaned, with some swirling hairline scratches in the obverse fields that appear under a loupe. A small mark appears between stars 6 and 7, and there is a short thin scratch on the reverse below the D in UNITED on the eagle's wing. No other impairments are observed, and the coin remains pleasing to the unaided eye. All border legends are clear and the Liberty portrait is bold. The eagle is weak but not fully worn away.
