Bust Half Dollars
1808 50C O-109a, R.3, AU55 PCGS. Multiple die cracks in the date area and a loss of milling on the reverse characterize the late die state O-109a. Most of the stars are well-formed and the central motifs show sharp definition. Silver luster shines through reddish-umber toning that deepens to gun barrel-blue at the margins. An attractive, naturally toned coin with Choice surfaces befitting the assigned AU55 grade.
