1810 50C O-104a, R.3, AU55 PCGS. Smoke-gray accents add depth to the silver-gray surfaces of this still-lustrous, Choice AU half. Bright mint luster shines through the frosted patina for exceptional eye appeal. Struck from a late die state, the O-104a variety has a die crack from the D in UNITED through STAT of STATES. A smudgelike die lump to the left of the shield apex touches the uppermost horizontal shield lines to confirm the R.3 die marriage.
