Bust Half Dollars
1812 50C Large 8, O-103, R.1, AU58 PCGS. The stars are typically flat on the right, sharp on the left and the high points show a bit of wear, yet there is no denying the near-Mint State quality of this 1812 half. A die line to the right of the clasp is the pick-up point for the O-103 obverse, while additional die lines between the eagle's left wing and neck confirms the variety. Mint luster is nearly full beneath rustic blue and reddish tan-gold toning.
