Bust Half Dollars
1812 50C Large 8, O-103, R.1, MS62 NGC. Mint luster adds a golden glow beneath an even, olive-gray patina that covers both sides of this Uncirculated O-103 example. Struck from worn and clashed dies, the stars are drawn to the edges where the milling is weak. Likewise, the reverse legend climbs the edges with some incompleteness at the highest points. Eye appeal is strong, with virtually mark-free fields and devices.
