Bust Half Dollars
1812 50C Large 8, O-108a, R.2, AU55 PCGS. Several crossbars extend into the right wing to identify the reverse, while a faint crack beneath the "jumping" first 1 in the date and a crack at 50 C on the reverse confirm the late die state of O-108a. Mint luster remains strong throughout the Choice About Uncirculated surfaces, bolstered by attractive blue and gold toning. Little-to-no milling remains on this advanced die stage example.
