Bust Half Dollars
1814 50C O-107, R.2, MS62 PCGS. A die chip in the nook of N in UNITED but no die chip on the nose identifies the O-107 die state. This frosted, silver-white example shows a few glimpses of incidental gray toning and full mint luster. Struck from clashed and bulged dies, with slight weakness at the cap, star 8, and at the denomination. All else is crisp, brilliant, and attractive. Population (all non-overdate varieties combined): 47 in 62, 73 finer (6/17).
