Bust Half Dollars
1820 50C Square Base 2, Large Date, No Knob, O-108, R.2, AU53 PCGS. The curled-top, knobless 2 with a square base leans oddly left to identify the O-108 obverse. Star 5 is recut at its lowest points. The olive leaves and berries are doubled on the reverse, confirming the variety. Sharp definition remains on the stars and central motifs, flattered by attractive brownish-gray, blue, and reddish-gold toning. Much mint luster remains.
