Bust Half Dollars
1821 50C O-101a, R.1, MS61 PCGS. A prominent die crack runs through UNITED STATE, exiting to the rim above E. The first S in STATES is filled beneath the top serif as a result of the late die state. This is an extremely sharp example for the assigned grade, with pinpoint definition throughout the raised elements and radiant mint luster beneath a vibrant reddish-gold patina. The eye appeal is exceptional.
