Bust Half Dollars
1825 50C O-113, R.1, MS63 PCGS. The stars are always large, flat, and close to the milling on O-113. In contrast, the central devices are sharp and well-formed, as confirmed by this lightly toned example. Smoothly frosted fields display strong silver luster. AME of AMERICA are joined at the base serifs. This pleasing Select Uncirculated coin is solidly within the Condition Census for the variety according to both the Parsley and Herrman references.
